Mom Bucks are still in high demand! This currency is still being printed and used in homes all around the world to organize the lives of busy moms EVERYWHERE! The original post, Mom Bucks Miracle, which was posted 4 years ago after I found a solution to our cabin fever. Children are still earning them for doing jobs at home and spending them on fun privileges. It is the most viewed blog post because the system works!
Families have been liberated because the way our society is run today, children are stuck in front of devices and not doing productive things that add to their lives. It is the truth! Even I have had moments where my children get the idea that something fun in life is when they are entertaining themselves with the use of electronic devices. It is not a problem when you have Mom Bucks! I tell you what, you can make those precious little “time thieves” commodities that they have to purchase TIME on by doing something worthwhile. It is great!

I love this system. I love that I can charge for the little annoying things that come up when you are trying to homeschool. I just love pouring into the lives of my children, giving them an education. Sometimes while doing school, I have to stop and reign in my students when they get distracted, bring up topics that do not pertain to what we are learning, or finding things to argue with each other about. I have my middle school boys that are at each other half the time, so I actually needed to get back on the program to get some fresh, fun results. Everyone is happy with this system. The boys are at the age where they can invest in their future or choose to spend time on things that won’t matter as much in their future like playing a video game, I am making it cost them. It actually feels more freeing as a mama, when I can give permission to do an extra activity when they have done so much to help out around the house. The feeling of hatred towards devices melts every time I see productivity.
Here is an example of how they can spend the Mom Bucks.
I love that I can charge them for talking bad about others or being mean. It can be quite a bad habit for most people. People can be so mean. There are a lot of things that we say that we wish we could take back. I have enough things I have done in my life that I wish I could change. I wish I could send myself a bill for every negative word that comes forth out of my own mouth. If we had to pay a dollar each time we spoke negatively about others or complained, we would ALL be poor. I think we would guard our hearts and words much more closely if that were the case, but Praise God we can take this little fun reminder to heart. May we all learn to speak kind, gentle, and encouraging words. Likewise, we would be rich if we started getting paid a dollar for each nice thing we did or kind word we spoke. We would find ways to speak uplifting words because it would pay off. Joy is a choice. It is all good learning.
This Mom Bucks system can really be a blessing and a way to really help our youngsters learn more than just the value of responsibility, we can teach them the value of their words and actions.

I am going to start this also. My children are older so I think I will turn it into real money for them at the end of the week. I would also like to see if you can email me for information on plexus. We had ordered products but did not stick with it. My email was hacked and I had to change it. Need to check on products for Rocky Mountain and gut health. I do have a question. I know much even all of life is a matter of choice. I started a home business baking bread. My children help with it as we are Homeschooling. Our bread became popular since it is home baked, but my house gets in a real ordeal. My husband blames my arty personality for that and I also don’t like conflict, but at times I feel like just running away.
You gave a lot of advice on this already and I am not sure what I am looking for, maybe I want to hear, put on your sneakers and make a run. Haha, just joking. It is as if I just can’t get to sort out the problem and I know the main problem is me, which makes things even harder.
I know you must think how can I have all the knowledge but can’t implement it successfully. I have read everything you posted. Literally everything, even the spaces between your word, haha. I read No Greater Joy, I read Always Learning and I am fed-up with myself.
We still live in Taiwan, so life is pretty much on one self. I feel deeply frustrated.
The rest I would like to share with you needs a private conversation, not a comment post. But any way. Maybe I just try to blow of some steam. I am so weak.

Oh my sweet friend!!! I would love to help! I have been there and done that and am fed up with running around with half of what God died to give me. I must tell you, it is a choice, we all have to just get fed up enough of ourselves and ready to just lay down and be happy, thankful, and joyful just with Jesus. Nothing more! Then nothing seems so bad, everything starts to look so much sweeter, feel less of a burden, and when you do not expect people or circumstances to make you happy, then it all seems like fun extra things that you know you don’t deserve anyhow, so it is FUN! Love you friend. If I could bare that burden for you, I would because I can handle it in Christ!
